in my opinion, this made me more excited for the film.
it felt more effective than the trailer.
Agreed. Definitely more Wes’ style (or at least a facsimile of his style) and gives you a much clearer look at the style of the film.
I agree with everything said above. The trailer actually really dampened my enthusiasm for the movie, and this featurette set it right back on track. It’s definitely more illustrative of the look he’s going for than the trailer was. Schwartzman’s character’s arms flailing wildly as he falls from the tree really did it for me.
