Darjeeling Limited petition
We, the undersigned, respectfully ask Fox and the Criterion Collection to release a Criterion edition of The Darjeeling Limited. All of Wes Anderson’s other films have received the Criterion treatment. TDL, the most recent film of this contemporary auteur, deserves the same.

I’m certain a criterion edition of this is needed. Completionists and regular movie lovers would get it, and you’ll save yourselves future hassle doing it now rather than in five years when you realize you’re going to do all of his movies and you’ve foolishly left one of the best ones out.

I could not think of a better way to celebrate such an original and genius film maker. Criterion has done such a great job of releasing Anderson’s previous works and I trust them to treat this piece much like his others. You have my vote and money for this one.

There is a “The Rock” CC edition… so yeah, Darjeeling needs to be part of the Limited collection.

I hesitated for a moment when first buying TDL on DVD. I knew it would only be a matter of time until Criterion released it, but it’s been much longer now than I first anticipated. I hope the release will be announced soon.
