So there was this one time where I watched the Darjeeling Limited and it made me a better human being for watching it. Oh…wait, that’s every time I watch it. Yeah, this needs to be in the collection.

Do not buy into the backlash from Wes Anderson hype. Take every movie you see for what it is, and not where it fits into the larger spectrum of film. If a film is great, it’s great, regardless of whether or not the director has used some of the same techniques in other movies.

I’m probably the biggest Wes Anderson fan there is, and I think that not only should it be on Criterion because of the others, but also because it is a flat out amazing film.
