  1. the day is finally here! and it looks wonderful. i’m happy and i’ll have to keep myself from watching this like 10 times a day just so i can go into the theater with child-like naivety.

  2. I’ve waited SO long to see this! Although the voice over doesn’t make this feel like a Wes movie, everything else made it look like it! Beautiful! Can’t wait!!!!

  3. Key word is… fantastic. Bad voiceover… ‘his neighbours… not so fantastic’ come on! This trailer doesnt do it for me, yet. The stills were awesome, i was expecting smoother stopmotion. Bit disapointing. But it doesnt look like anything else, which is good, i think. The jokes arn’t smart… Earliy to say but does this, again, become a proof that the best writing Wes did was with Owen as writing partner?

  4. It’s pretty clear they’re not marketing to Wes fans with this trailer. And I think that’s smart. They’ve already got us eating out of their hand. I saw enough good stuff to stick with my plan of going opening night.

  5. I absolutely love it! I can’t wait to see it… what would the world be without the brilliance of Wes…

  6. Meh. Thats what i have to say about the trailer. The movie i’m still excited about but the trailer didn’t quite do it for me. I was expecting someting to rival the Where the Wild Things are trailer but this was a bit too conventional. Which i’ll admit may be good for attendance.

I will admit thouhgh that the film looks much more Wes than i ever expected them to be able to translate to stop motion. 😀
