As we mentioned yesterday on Twitter, there’s a great new profile on Wes in this week’s New Yorker by Richard Brody. Click on the thumbnails below to read the article and let us know what you think in the comments.

I am one of the fortunate ones who has a subscription to the new yorker. I love seeing the pieces done on wes, from way back when to right now.
EA, page 5 does not load. Please help! This is a great article
Page 5 works for me, Zissou.
thank you for taking the time to post this. it’s fascinating to read about wes as an adolescent, and i was happy to learn that max fischer was not a fabricated character. i didn’t realize that his mother was an archaeologist. ‘the royal tenenbaums’ has definitely influenced my academic career, and i hope to one day furnish my home with archaeological curios.
Thank you for this great article. I learned that Wes lives in my neighbourhood and use to have drinks in the same café where I’m going quite often. I have not met him yet but it won’t be long !
