Cahiers du Cinéma names Fantastic Mr. Fox #5 Movie of 2010

Esteemed French cinema journal Cahiers du Cinéma, once home to nouvelle vague pioneers Jean-Luc Godard, Francois Truffaut and Eric Rohmer, among others, has named Fantastic Mr. Fox the #5 film of 2010. Wes’ film joins those by veteran filmmakers Werner Herzog, Jean-Luc Godard, Joel and Ethan Coen, David Fincher, and the genius Thai filmmaker Apitchatpong Weerasethakul. Though it appears that even in France Wes can’t escape from underneath the clutches of Pixar.
