Requiem for a Dying Dawn (One-shot The Grand Budapest Hotel fanfic)

(For a while, I’ve been mulling on what my first contribution to this site would be, and I decided it would be something Dmitri-centric ,considering I run a part-time Dmitri RP account on Twitter [@CountDmitri].

Thus, this one-shot fic was born, since I wanted something short and sweet but still interesting to do. This is, as mentioned previously, done from a first-person POV [Dmitri], and it concerns the time period between the death of Deputy Kovacs and the falling action scene at the Grand Budapest prior to Gustave’s vindication, penned in a semi-diary style format.

It mostly sticks to canon for the sake of being recognizable, but there are some original events I’ve added which explain what our favourite aristocrat has been up to offscreen–it is also somewhat shippy [DmitrixAgatha], so you are warned).
