They might as well just give UP the award right now. Even though I thought Fantatic Mr. Fox was the better movie of the two (as do a lot of people – critics & fans), it’s not nearly as popular or made nearly as much money at the box office as UP, which seems to deterime nominees (and winners) more and more every year. UP was also nominated for Best Picture (which I also disagree with) and won the Golden Globe, so if UP doesn’t win I will be shocked! Oh well, it’s just an honor to be nominated, right? 😉
i kind of hope secret of kells gets it because it’s only a couple of guys in a small office that made it “cartoon saloon” and are just happy to be there. but i loved fantastic mr fox best anderson film yet.
I WISH THIS WILL WIN!! Unfortunately, Hal 9000, I do agree with your comment. This to me is the better movie.
